Autocar is the oldest vehicle nameplate in continuous production in the United States.
And, although the current LCF model may not invoke the same nostalgic feeling as
the historic vintage models, we at Autocar hold fast to our heritage.
We invite you, the collector, to help us preserve the history of our name by
submitting your vintage model photographs of Autocar trucks. Vintage is defined
as trucks produced during the period 1897 – when brothers Louis and John Clarke
founded the company and produced their first vehicle, a gas-powered tricycle – through
1980. |
Please include a brief history of the truck, including your name and contact information,
model year of the truck shown, any truck shows you have participated in, and awards
won.
Photographs, with a description of the truck, may be submitted via email to: info@autocartruck.com. Please send photographs in JPG format, preferably 1MB or less in file size.
Finally, please take a few minutes to browse some of our favorite collector's
