Responsibilities
The Progress DBA for QAD application will have responsibility for supporting new business initiatives and projects, ensuring housekeeping and monitoring of all databases and provide 24x7 production support.
Specific responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- All Progress database administration functions including definition, maintenance, and support in a large production environment in an enterprise network, spanning multiple geographical regions preferably in a SAN environment.
- Liaise with network administrators, systems analysts, and software engineers to
assist in resolving problems with software products or company software systems.
- Database administration, manage and support all Production, QA and Development environments.
- Database design, architecture, implementation in an enterprise scale
- Database Performance Tuning.
- Database Dump and Load and Progress upgrades
Qualifications
Candidate must have 6 to 10 years in Open Edge Database administration. The successful candidate will be hands-on, detail-oriented and have a passion for accuracy, a restless curiosity and unquestioned integrity. Strong communication skills, time management and the ability to work independently are a must.
- Experience with DBA in multiple operating systems
- Experience with OS and server configuration
- Experience in database design and architecture
- Quality Assurance experience - defining and executing test cases
- Experience with multiple version upgrades and migration
- Unix Shell Scripting in writing shell scripts for database administration and monitoring. Knowledge of Progress 4GL queries a plus
- Experience with performance tuning

The Electrical Design Engineer is responsible for maintaining the Bill of Materials in the Electrical systems related modules such that they contain available, functional, installable parts that when assembled to the truck, provide a truck that meets the Customers' requirements and is safe to operate.
Qualifications
Candidate must have at least an Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school in Electrical Engineering; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Summary
