Take exhaust aftertreatment, for example. When soot levels in the filter reach 100%, the gauge turns yellow and an audible alert sounds. An early warning that attention is needed. If soot levels continue climbing to 170%, the gauge turns red and the alert intensifies, making it clear the truck should be inspected by a technician.
These escalating warnings remove guesswork and help prevent small issues from turning into major downtime.
